The day we went to pick out our pumpkins, the weather was so nice, almost hot. We decided to go to a farm about 15 minutes south of us. The last time we went to this farm, we went with my family and Preston was 6 months old and there was hardly anyone there. So when we pulled up and all 3 parking lots were full, we were a little surprised. We waited in line for the hayride, which turned out to not have any hay. The boys kept asking where the hay was. A tractor pulls you out for a good 5 minute ride out to where you get to pick your pumpkins.

As we pulled up to where all of the pumpkins were, it's a huge open field. So even though it was crowded, everyone was spread out, so it wasn't the mad dash to get the best pumpkin that I thought it would be.
I spotted my pumpkin while we were driving up. I told Tyson, There's Mine! Sweet, that was easy. I kept my eye on "my" pumpkin and took a bunch of pics of the boys and Tyler walking all over trying to find their perfect pumpkin.

Tyson would pick one up and say it was the one, and then walk a ways and say, nope HERE is the perfect one. Then about 10 steps further, he would declare. THIS one is good too. I can't decide.

Preston found one he liked and was trying to haul it around. But it was too heavy. We told the boys when we started that they can only pick one out that they can carry. So if it was too heavy they would have to pick another one. Preston was trying to convince one of us to carry his perfect pumpkin. We ended up helping him find an even better one that wasn't as heavy.

Mason was on the search for a green little pumpkin. He wasn't too happy when all of the little green ones were rotten. So we kept showing him ones that we thought were great, all the while he was saying that he was looking for a little green one. We ended up convincing him that they were all gross and to pick a cool orange one. Which he did.

On our way back to the farm we actually got to ride and sit on real hay. So the boys were happy that they didn't miss out on their Hay Ride.
We paid for our pumpkins and then got some ice cream. Yum! It was a fun Saturday.
